Pros and cons of Manything app for iPhone and iPad

Manything app good for

This app helps me to monitor my baby whenever shes in her room while im doing household chores. Gonna feature this app on my YouTube vlog
Lots of apps can show you what others are doing but Manything connects you to whats really important... Your own things.
Hand down the best security cam app for iPhone. Stupid simple to use, works great without paying a dime!
Ill start with the positives. Great app for one, nice ui, well designed. The simplicity and ease of use is very good, youll be quickly set up in about five minutes. Now for the negatives. I wish the "viewer" could be full screen for one. It would be nice to offer some free iCloud storage. I understand there needs to be money made but the price points are a little steep. In conclusion, great app, download it and youll be happy. Make the changes I suggest and the app will be five stars.
This program is great! It works exactly as advertised and is super easy to set up. It even has motion zones on the camera, so you dont get alerts for things that dont matter. If only the monthly service was lower. I would definitely use it. The free version has all the functionality except for saving videos for longer that 4 hrs. Really a must have if you have an old working phone thats not in use.
Im using two iPhones as cameras and able to monitor either one from app installed on third phone, or from computer and website. You can also send voice messages to play out loud through phone. Has been very useful to watch young adult dog home during day.

Some bad moments

Unlike previous versions, now you have to pay to see any recorded security video. All you get for free are motion alerts.
App works great, super easy to setup and use. After a month you can no longer view captured video and must subscribe to a monthly fee. If you dont subscribe, you can see live video and receive motion alerts only. Too bad.
After trial period all you get is live streaming and email notification, so unless you want sit and stare at a screen all day or pay for storage, it is pretty much useless. Should be able to store a few hours on your device. Will be removing it from my devices.
So why is my many thing connected to my English version Facebook and English version iPhone from an English version App Store in ... Japanese?? I cannot read anything!!!!!!
Unfortunately Manything is only as reliable as your electric utility company and/or your WiFi service provider. On two vacations, separate electric and Comcast outages closed out my iPad Air2 Manything connection. With no one there to reconfigure/reset the hookup, nothing was monitored for the rest of my trips. These weaknesses reduce its functional reliability to near zero.
Had been using the free version of this app for a few months... found it to be a bit glitchy but was thinking about upgrading at some point. Suddenly, Manything removes the ability to record from the free app without letting me know. Not cool. I dont like to be baited and now they want to nickel & dime for recording capabilities. What they dont tell you is that it is very easy to eat up all your recording allocation with things like changes in light level & changes in sound level (if you use sound triggers).
