Does not work on iPod touch 5 it stays on standby mode even after setting it to camera ON very disappointed!!

While there have in the past been normal issues with the service everything seems to be worked out now. I use Manything every day now with no problems at all. I highly recommend this service. If you want to pay the big bucks then go elsewhere. If you want a service designed for real folks look no further. This is the real deal. Customer service is second to no one. These guys are on top of it and it will stay that way. I use my iPhone 6s+ and my iPad Pro as cameras and my MacBook Pro as a viewer with no problems at all. And I only have wifi with 10 mbs download and 1.25 upload speed. I can watch my pup from more or less anywhere in the world where there is internet access. No you will not get a 4K video stream but you will get a very good clear feed with very little latency. Who knew? This is great!

This is by far my favorite home monitoring ap. The update provided some additional useful tools. I use Manything all day, everyday. I wouldnt hesitate a second to recommend this to everyone.

Manything, properly set up, is astoundingly good. First, dont use cheap AC adapters to power your iPhones used as Manything cams. Genuine Apple or highly rated third party adapters on Amazon work. I tried dirt cheap ones and they all had problems keeping a Manything purposed iPhone running even though they worked for normal phone charging. The other requirement is solid stable strong wifi. If wifi is marginal you wont get a reliable Manything experience. The features are so so useful. You can select segments of a viewed field to exclude from motion triggering. You can listen (and now TALK) to a remote cam and the audio is very good. Can record a motion triggered audio message that your remote camera plays such as "motion detected, police notified". Motion triggered text and email alerts are quite reliable. Zero false alarms if set up properly. When combined with IFTT app the utility expands much further. My interior cameras go on standby when I come home. IFTT looks at my personal phone GPS and senses when I am home. It then sends standby commands to my interior cams but keeps outside ones on. Ive tried almost every competitors products and Manything is superior. They have GENIUS LEVEL app developers and a reliable Amazon cloud video storage setup. MANYTHING ROCKS. BEST IN CLASS. Addendum: the reviewer who experienced iPhone 5 battery failure had a defective battery or charger. I run a dozen iPhone 5s on Manything full time with zero battery problems. I tried really cheap chargers despite Manythings contrary advice and that was a mistake. Didnt ruin batteries but caused them to run down even hooked up to charger due to high current demand. Ive tried many other video monitoring apps and Manything is by far the best.

Best free tool for using an old smartphone to monitor your home. I use it daily to check in on our dogs and will love having during the holidays while we travel!

The recording quality and ability to pick up movement at night are far superior to the Presence app. Very easy to use and set up.

Program exits back to home screen by itself and the camera goes offline. There is no way to get the camera back online remotely. Do not rely on this for security.

This Manything app is exactly what I needed. I had an old iPhone 4 laying around gathering dust, so I put this app on it and my new iPhone so I could use it to check in on my dog while Im away from the house. This app has a lot of control over how you use the remote camera and with a minimum amount of playing with the app I easily figured it all out (while monitoring a remote camera just click on settings to control the functions of the camera). You can listen to the room you are monitoring and you can talk to the room also. You can even turn the flashlight function of the remote camera on if needed. This app also has a record feature that is motion sensor activated. I am truly impressed with this app.

This is a wonderful application. I would recommend it to anyone. Its its much more versatile than my security camera, plus it has cost me nothing!

Love the app.. easy to setup and good use of notifications.. my only gripe is the video having to refresh when your switch the orientation of the phone.. a minor gripe but the overall functionality of the app is perfect..

The app works well. Outside of one 15 minute window (which I was alerted about) I havent had any service interruptions. My biggest complaint is the slow UI. The UI takes a really long time to load and you have to dig to turn the camera on and off. It would be nice to add a home screen option to quickly enable/disable the camera and light. iPhone 6S+ camera iPhone 7 monitor Both on fios 100/100

Ive been waiting for this app as its perfect for me to livestream my dogs while staying in hotels. This totally replaces the need for hauling a webcam which was the only alternative and extremely difficult to set up. With Manything, I pop open my iPad, launch the app and press one button. Perfect. I was using a small security camera to watch my home and dog until it didnt work any longer. Then I tried an ION security camera that didnt work at all and was returned. I found this app by accident and am I glad. I pulled out my old iPhone 5 downloaded the app and in seconds had a beautiful clear picture of the interior of my living area as well as the dogs activity. Kudos to manything, you certainly solved my problem.

After the free trial you cant longer see videos recorded by your device. I thought I was going to be able to record videos on my device memory but thats not the case. Everything is cloud based with a PAID subscription.

While the functionality of the app is ok, customer support is lousy. I didnt get credit for an upgrade in service when I needed it and when I tried to complain and ask for a refund they have ignored me. BEWARE OF THIS APP.

This is the ONLY app of this type that not only works, it works great. Very easy to use and very well done. With that said, I would have no issue paying a good price for this app and that being all I pay for. I dont need cloud storage or any of that. I would gladly pay for a live feed and recordings. I dont need it stored. I just want to see my wifes cat jump on the counter and the recording scare the crap out of them. Thats funny. But not worth 7.99 a month.

I use this to watch our pets when were out. Easy to setup and use- I dont use the backup features so havent had to get the subscriptions. I do like that theres a motion sensor and that you can save clips. Nice as a basic security cam in lighted areas.

I have been using this app for several months. The last updates seem to have brought stability. It works as an extra set of eyes to my regular cam security system. My iPhones do occasionally lose their Wi-Fi link, and you have to chase down and stop all sources of pop ups, or the camera will be forced offline. I would like it if the developers would somehow make the icon show smaller on my iwatch when an alert comes through.
