Lots of apps can show you what others are doing but Manything connects you to whats really important... Your own things.
Hand down the best security cam app for iPhone. Stupid simple to use, works great without paying a dime!
Ill start with the positives. Great app for one, nice ui, well designed. The simplicity and ease of use is very good, youll be quickly set up in about five minutes. Now for the negatives. I wish the "viewer" could be full screen for one. It would be nice to offer some free iCloud storage. I understand there needs to be money made but the price points are a little steep. In conclusion, great app, download it and youll be happy. Make the changes I suggest and the app will be five stars.
Unlike previous versions, now you have to pay to see any recorded security video. All you get for free are motion alerts.
App works great, super easy to setup and use. After a month you can no longer view captured video and must subscribe to a monthly fee. If you dont subscribe, you can see live video and receive motion alerts only. Too bad.
This program is great! It works exactly as advertised and is super easy to set up. It even has motion zones on the camera, so you dont get alerts for things that dont matter. If only the monthly service was lower. I would definitely use it. The free version has all the functionality except for saving videos for longer that 4 hrs. Really a must have if you have an old working phone thats not in use.
Im using two iPhones as cameras and able to monitor either one from app installed on third phone, or from computer and website. You can also send voice messages to play out loud through phone. Has been very useful to watch young adult dog home during day.
After trial period all you get is live streaming and email notification, so unless you want sit and stare at a screen all day or pay for storage, it is pretty much useless. Should be able to store a few hours on your device. Will be removing it from my devices.
good job
So why is my many thing connected to my English version Facebook and English version iPhone from an English version App Store in ... Japanese?? I cannot read anything!!!!!!
Genialne, Proste i Darmowe!
I need an Apple Watch version of your App to watch an emergency stop video image right on my hand.
I downloaded Manything to monitor activity in my office when I was out because I had noticed some suspicious things. The monitoring camera was an iPhone 4 plugged into the wall and tucked behind another shiny black thing. Well, it worked incredibly well, and I learned quickly that the housekeeping staff was going through drawers and handbag looking for money. Colleagues had similar suspicions of missing money but could not pin it on any one person. I turned the video over to security. The thief has been fired. Whew!
Works as advertised. Would had given this five stars if it had supported 16:9 aspect ratio in landscape mode. Notification on motion is a bit flaky. Sometimes I get the notification, sometimes I dont...
Not anymore. The update strained the old device so the last useful thing this old device has us gone Also the new subscription policy defeated the purpose why I used it in the first place. When it worked, the app was great.
Unfortunately Manything is only as reliable as your electric utility company and/or your WiFi service provider. On two vacations, separate electric and Comcast outages closed out my iPad Air2 Manything connection. With no one there to reconfigure/reset the hookup, nothing was monitored for the rest of my trips. These weaknesses reduce its functional reliability to near zero.
I was an early adopter when it was free for all aspects (more than one camera, etc). You can integrate with IFTTT to set the camera to record automatically when youre away. Although they introduced pricing plans, they still have a free plan and their pricing is super reasonable compared to home camera systems on the market like drop cam. The fact that you dont have to buy cameras is a huge savings as well. This is a great inexpensive supplement to my home security system. Gives me peace of mind being able to check on the house and my dog when Im away. I love that you can talk out of the camera too!! There have need a lot of great updates since Ive joined. Looking forward to more.
I have been using this app for watching my dogs when we are out to watching the activity at the front door for a while now. We live in a remote area and it gives me peace of mind to be able to check the activity when we are away. Easy to set up and use and I have recommended this app many times.
What happened that the latest iPad version no longer was a trashcan in the top right hand corner to delete clips while you are watching them? No you are forced to exit the video player that is playing your clips and delete them from the list of events.
